Hi, my name is Josh Emmel and this is my photography website. This section is here to act as a digital portfolio/resume, and also give some background for my passions and goals.
I am a mechanical engineering student at WSU Everett, an amateur photographer, cinematographer, theatre tech, gamer, and just all around nerd. With my degree I plan on getting into the field of sustainable/alternative energy or conservation. With the rise of climate change, growing scarcity of fossil fuels, and poor efficiency of internal combustion engines something needs to change. A key part of this transition is energy storage. I’m from the Pacific Northwest and love to spend as much time as I can out in the surrounding forests. Except for early spring when all the plants try to kill me with their pollen.
